Zenzap has raised $44 million in funding to build its private messenger and AI chat app designed to replace consumer apps like WhatsApp in the workplace. Founded by Guy Weiss, Noam Neumann, and Jonatan Bien, the startup aims to help businesses coordinate staff and secure organizational data while maintaining compliance with IT and security rules. Investors in the fundraise include Bessemer, Lightspeed, and The Garage, alongside individual backers such as Wix president Nir Zohar and former EY GM Yoram Tietz.

The platform provides standard messaging features alongside AI-powered voice chat, search, workflow automation, and transcriptions, targeting industries ranging from hospitality and construction to healthcare and fast food. Current clients include major brands like FedEx, Dollar General, and Starbucks, with various branches using the platform to coordinate shifts and manage supply. Operating with a team of 50 staff across the U.S., Tel Aviv, and Europe, the company plans to expand its product and R&D departments in the near future.

This funding round matters because it enables Zenzap to scale its mobile-first workplace communication platform and expand its enterprise AI agent capabilities to industries that currently rely on consumer messaging tools.
