Apple will announce the HomeView smart home hub on Tuesday, featuring a Siri-powered display, an A18 chip, and smart home controls. Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman revealed the upcoming device details, which mark Apple's most serious bet on the smart home market following limited traction with past products.

The Siri-powered HomeView device will be available in two distinct models, offering options for either countertop placement or wall mounting. Alongside the new hub, Apple plans to unveil updated versions of the Apple TV set-top box and the HomePod mini on Tuesday, as well as an anticipated smart lock, thermostat, and doorbell partnership with LG.

This launch represents Apple's latest effort to establish a strong presence in the smart home sector after earlier struggles with the HomeKit software framework and the HomePod smart speaker.
