Natura has launched Interface, a new $99 smart ring designed to connect users with AI agents for everyday tasks and health tracking. Founded by Carlo Edoardo Ferraris, the hardware startup created the device to give people constant access to artificial intelligence without needing to constantly look at their phones. Pre-orders for the smart ring are expected to open next month, with shipping slated for December or January.
At launch, the ring will integrate with various AI models and apps, including ChatGPT, Claude, Grokbot, and Meta's Muse and Instinct. Users can select which specific agent handles different tasks, such as writing code or booking reservations, with responses delivered through connected headphones, iPhone Live Activities, or the NatureOS app. In addition to managing digital workflows and device controls, the ring doubles as a health monitor tracking heart rate, HRV, sleep, and activity metrics.
The company plans to sell the initial hardware for $99 before introducing a $9 monthly subscription fee following a free introductory period of three to six months. While the startup previously developed AI-enabled earbuds called HumanPods, Ferraris believes the ring form factor is ideal for 24-7 accessibility. This wearable technology aims to shift everyday digital interactions away from traditional screens toward simple voice-activated commands.
